mariabdc's growing collection
I have started to downsize and then expand my collection, so i thought i'd better post a thread with all my bags to show them, see them off and welcome them into the family...
It all started with a chocolate baby paddington from Chloe at the beginning of november last year... I had been hoping to get a Chloe betty, but she was snatched from me and this one came up and it was BNWT... She is a bit too small, but the leather is just edible... The children in the playground love messing around with the padlock and the key... Not that i let them, but they take advantage when i run around chasing my overactive toddler...  A few weeks later, I bumped into a preloved chocolate medium Betty (another Chloe) and i had to get her... My favourite bag of all times...

By mid-december I had already spotted a gorgeous whiskey Edith satchel (Chloe) which one of my favourite tPFers was selling... What a beautiful bag!
 I was very good until the january sales... Luisa Via Roma started their 50% off sale and i decided it was high time i got a quilted bay... She isnt my favourite Chloe bag, but she is the most practical and sturdy... and she is the one who receives most compliments...

Since my bank account wasnt doing very well, i stayed off ebay and e-stores for a while and it was only in April that i got myself a beautiful whiskey small Betty (Chloe again)... in mint condition from another tPFer...
 And modelling...  Comparison pic with medium betty

I decided i needed whiskey shoes to match some of my bags, so i found these flats on Yoox...
 Complete whiskey family (including Edith long wallet - i love her to pieces!)

My friend Lescoy had been talking about Balenciagas for a long time, so before i realised i had this stunning 06 Truffle Day coming from Real Deal Collection in the US!
 I think i have found the perfect bag for me... Having two under-fives, i need a large shoulder bag... and the day style is just perfect for my needs... Modelling pics

One Sunday afternoon in May i was very bored + stressed with work, so i wandered off to the Belen Echandia subforum... i saw the Stroke Me style, i thought it would suit me and before i realised i had BINned a chocolate stroke me on ebay... again from a lovely tPFer...
Here she is (the bag, not the tPFer ) compared to truffle day... The leather on this bag is amazing and it is very convenient when lots of children are around!Stuffed  "on-stuffed"

Finally, about three weeks ago i won an auction for what i thought would be a vert fonce day bag but turned out to be olive brown, which i love... Such a rich and changing colour... I have been using her non-stop since her arrival!
The pics dont make justice to this beauty... it is a rich brown with olive undertones...

Finally, there is another bag on her way to Spain from the UK: pewter crash Hold Me from Belen Echandia and another bespoke which will be ready around september (Angel Purse in Chocolate, from BE).
This will be my first metallic handbag... Will I take the plunge and carry her? Watch this space! And thank you for browsing my growing collection! |

Thanks... They arent designer neither pricy, but they are very comfy and wearable... The brand is Wonders (i believe they are made in Spain) and they were around 150 USD... |
