As promised, here's my new addition to my collection: the new Burnt Orange Morning After Clutch by Rebecca Minkoff. To my knowledge, these were only sold at Luna Boston (they are now out of stock there). I pre-ordered mine on September 6 (yes, I do remember the exact date, lol) when I went to Luna Boston for a special event with Rebecca Minkoff. As soon as I walked in their boutique on Newbury Street, my eyes focused on this bag (by the way, Rebecca Minkoff herself was standing right next to it!) I had to have it...it was instantaneous , to say the least. I have always favored warm colors like red, orange, and fuchsia -- and this bag was a complete surprise to me, and the staff at Luna Boston who was preparing the Rebecca Minkoff sales event -- it was not even supposed to be there for the event, but I begged for a special order and now here she is! This is also the first bag on the market with RM's new "mixed" hardware.

Okay, after a loooooong absence I am back again! And you might be shocked to hear this (but maybe not -- you are PFers, so this stuff doesn't faze you)...but I sold off my ENTIRE collection as it stood before. All of the RMs, LVs, the Lauren Merkin, everything. And I started fresh, with my new-found handbag love: Belen Echandia.

So here I go with my new collection!!!! It's on the smaller side by TPF standards, but they are all beloved pieces. I am constantly switching it up, so please check back often!


Here's my first (technically, my second) Belen Echandia bag, I bespoked it as part of a special offer last fall. My family gifted it to me for Christmas to celebrate the completion of my first book!

My next Belen Echandia was purchased pre-loved, in the coveted dark gray matte leather. It's also a Love Me, but this time in the mini size!:

Another of my favorites for small leather good is Hayden-Harnett. Here is my clutch wallet (my favorite large wallet design ever) in the amazingly indestructible black Zeus leather (with matching key fob):

My obsession with Belen Echandia's gray leathers continued, and I was lucky enough to find this highly practical (and amazingly lightweight) Make Me Smile Midi on sale. Here it is, in the dark gray glossy leather. It's perfect for bad weather:

Frankly, when I first became interested in BE I didn't actually like the Make Me Smile model...but once I tried it out, I realized what all of the hype was about. It weighs nothing, is incredibly roomy, and very easy to get in and out of. I was hooked, and soon afterwards found a gorgeous pre-loved Make Me Smile Midi in wine glossy:

Around the same time I also became interested in Treesje, a smaller handbag company run by two women out of Los Angeles (for some reason I always end up loving smaller indie designers, particularly female designers). I soon bought my first Treesje, a gorgeous Geneva Clutch in black shine:

Next came the arrival of my second Belen Echandia bespoke bag. As far as I know this is the only bag of its kind in the world (pretty cool!) Here is my burnt orange glossy Whisper To Me (full size):
