Hey, everyone! Thanks for your kind compliments for my leather babies!

Funny, my collection has already changed since I posted these pics -- I (gasp) sold my precious ruby morning after mini (double gasp)...in order to put my HG, a Bal Ruby Day, on layaway. I want the bag fast, so I am motivated to pay it off, like, NOW!!
I figure that my coin purse needs an older sibling. Will post pics when she arrives, but it may be a bit...

As for the choco Nikki, I am in lurve with her. Such a substantial, luscious leather. RM is recutting this bag, but with new hardware this spring. I am thrilled to have the original HW!!


lolitablue: Thanks for your interest in my book. I am college professor and writer (ha ha ha...I know what some of you are thinking...a college professor who likes designer bags? I know, I don't fit the mold, but my research is on music and media. I teach classes on music video, etc.). So...I wrote a book on Latin music and the Miami music industry -- mostly about the Latin music boom of the late 1990s. It will be on Amazon and in places like that, from what I understand. I am not assuming that it will sell a lot, but at least I reached my goal!!!

The best place to look for RM on consignment as of late is Ann's Fabulous Finds, which has a great online website:

You can do layaway there, and Ann and Troy are wonderful to work with -- very prompt, courteous, and kind. I have gotten two bags from them, and I know several others who have as well. They get new bags in pretty regularly.

Like I said a few posts ago, my collection has already changed. I sold a bag and now another lovely has arrived, my very first Belen Echandia bag. I have been lurking a bit in the BE forum this summer and fall, and have really liked what I have seen of the bags...and their unparalleled CS. I bought my first BE, a full-size Stroke Me bag in mottled gold, from a lovely fellow PFer who took excellent care of it. It is in mint condition, and the softest, most subtle metallic I have ever seen. I have been missing a metallic bag since I sold my beloved (but slightly scuffed from a long trip) Hayden-Harnett Antharcite Havana Hobo. I have always ed metallics. I am thrilled with this one:

Okay, more changes afoot...I just sold my tangy MAM with Elisha Strap. She is going out via UPS today. She had to go, since I have a burnt orange MAC with mixed HW coming my way in a few weeks from LB. I also sold another bag yesterday.

Stop the madness!!! I am down to 7 bags in my entire handbag collection.

I should be getting my next BE (a lossy purple Love Me with silver HW) between the end of November and Christmas, María Belén. (I can't wait!!!) Besides that, I have a tomato MAB with old school brass chain, and Bal Ruby 08 Day Bag on consignment layaway. Then there's the burnt orange MAC with mixed HW coming my way. The BE is a gift, but the rest I am in charge of...so I am consolidating and tweaking my collection like crazy!

The LV clutch wallet and the Silver Lauren Merkin clutch should be out of my possession soon. The Ruby MAM, Tangerine MAM, and straps are gone. I am also in the process of trading my BBW MAM for a BBW MAB. Sick, I know. But I will post pics as I go along!!! (So you can all join in the twistedness with me, too! Heh heh heh).

Don't be mad at me, but I just sold my old LV wallet...but can't bring myself to part with the Tango bag, my mono pochette or my soon-to-be-returned-to-me-with-new-HW "vintage" Speedy 30 and strap! The Speedy is my mami's old bag, it's at least 15 years old. Cool, huh? The patina on it is lovely.
