I found that a few of my bags are too small for a conventional wallet, so found a crocodile credit card holder from Smythson that holds my driver's license, a few credit cards and some cash. Perfect for my Ferragamo and the minaudierre.

Have you tried Lipstick Queen oxymorons? They come in a round, relatively flat disk. Here is what they look like:
