thanks ladies for looking in! crazyLV, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your monogram riveting bag, wish I would ahve grabbed me one of those. As much as i LOVE my chanel's, whenever I need that stylish bag I can wear anywhere (Disbeyland for example with my two year old) I go to my trusty old LV monogram!! I HIGHLY recommend the Chanel white or black caviar jumbo flap or Grande Shopping tote when the time comes...they are almost as durable as LV but a wee bit dressier! Have fun collecting!

in any case, my Chanel family has "expanded" (no pun intended,) by three new members, the navy expandable tote, the White Caviar GST and, ta da........ THE BLACK METALLIC REISSUE SIZE 227!!!

I think I will be on a purse ban once I get the new Act II vintage linge n/s tote in grey distressed later this month....but then you never know what else will show up at my door via Fedex!
GORGEOUS (espanding (LUV the pun!) FAMILY trshaluvslv!!!

My DH is also very happy that there are NO DESIGNER stores or even Dept stores in my entire STATE. However, it's almost WORSE becuase now that I've discovered TPF... it has given me a wealth of info. on how and where to purchase .. as well as a TON of "I wants" that I'd NEVER HAVE EVEN KNOWN ABOUT otherwise!!

OH>>>> Hermes'.... can I come visit?? I "lurk" in that forum every once in awhile.. But I am like a fish out of water there and most of the time have no clue about any of it!! Probably a GOOD thing!! AHHH wellll.... I can dream!!

Enjoy your gorgeous bags... and post pics of that Hermes' that may be in your future!!

thanks jbug59, it has been a wild ride I must say. My inlaws have a summer ranch in Montana, Lewistown. Where in big sky country are you? I know you cannot possibly find a chanel bag in that state, we have been there quite a bit. I love montana, until you have visited, you cannot grasp the true meaning of "big sky country". When you drive from Missoula to Helena and right as you drive down into the valley to Helena, all of a sudden the mountains part and the sky opens and you see all the tall white steeples and you feel about two inches from heaven, it is so spectacular....until you try to find a designer store that is . you must be best friends with the fedex man!!! When you are ready for an orange box, call me!

thanks for your tips, trishaluvslv!!
but not sure what you mean 'Chanel white or black caviar jumbo flap or Grande Shopping tote'

but i am getting learn about Chanel products..

all I want is 'ONE flap' don't like two flaps inside the bag cos it's waste, no idea why they make 'TWO'??

shape of its bag body should be medium - enough stuff for my needs everyday not for party purpose.. can be usefully times ie casual or carrying it as everyday as like mono rivetting

'grande shopping tote' it's seem too big and expensive isn't?
yeah I like that word 'shopping tote' it must be cool!!

I was initially going to say "love your flaps!" especially the blush patent leather (TDF) but then looked at the other photos ... LOVE 'EM ALL! And with your new additions -- AWESOME COLLECTION!

[quote=trishaluvslv;3111194]Ladies, after finding my chanel HG bag this week, the chanel navey patent reissue, I decided it was time for a family portrait of my chanel collection....they are too pretty not to share! [quote]
