Thanks I like it when the patina gets that dark on LVs.

may i ask where your speedy came from? it looks great. I want a vintage one as well but I don't trust most of ebay...did you get it authenticated at LV?

I really like Damier - like a billion times better than the LV monogram.

Same here. Damier is not that flashy and yet very classy.

I bought it on eBay a couple of weeks ago The seller had purchased it from a My Poupette seller, but had also bought three other bags from the same person and decided she had bought too many. She paid around $280, I paid $275 with shipping.

There are some good deals on vintage Speedys on eBay, but you do have to do a lot of searching and be patient, something I'm not good at The Shoes, Purses and Fashion Accessories board on eBay has a lot of great people who know a ton about LV and can help you distinguish the real bags from the tons of fakes that are on eBay.

Chemlex - The Damier print is my favorite, too. I think owning one or two monogram bags is a must for anyone who loves LV, but the next LV I buy will either be from the Epi or Damier collections, most likely the Speedy
