Yay, I can finally post my bag showcase! BE kind, everyone ![]() !!I like to think of my little closet as a work in progress, because I am still growing and refining my "style palate," if you will . ![]() |

It's not the biggest walk-in, but I love that it is an actual room that requires vacuuming and a light switch of its own!! Wow, that sounds silly, doesn't it??
Here is what you see when you open the little door: ![]() |

This is where I keep all my shoes. I actually finally got rid of my DS's old multicolor plastic shelves and have all white ones, and more of them too. THe first day I was excited to see I had blank spots for new shoes
...then I went shopping. Now I need more shelves. ![]() ![]() |

And over here, tucked into the corner is where I keep my lovelies, the inanimate members of our happy family...

Like I said, I used to be a very practical girl about purses. I couldn't understand why anyone would spend more than $50.00 dollars on a purse
![]() .Then a new, more upscale shopping development opened in our downtown shopping district. I saw this place called "Coach." I loved this purse to death, almost. I was mesmerized by the contrasting interior. Hypnotized by the leather smell. I carried it throughout the summer I was pregnant with #1 DD, and unfortunately, that shows a little on the handles. Ack! ![]() Last edited by candy2100; Jun 28th, 2008 at 01:12 PM. |

After I had my little DD, I didn't want to carry a Winnie-the-Pooh diaper bag, or something equally infantile. SO this is what I carried as a diaper bag:

Then, one day we were shopping with my in-laws and DH disappeared and then came back with this for me:

The next "phase" I went into was Louis Vuitton. There are so many people carrying them I was hesitant to buy myself one. SO I decided what would make it special to me would be to buy it in France.
Unfortunately, the big store on the Champs Elysee was under construction. I would have to wait until our next trip. ![]() |

Then the "next time" came, but the store wasn't opening again until something like 3 DAYS after we left France.

Finally the timing was right! On our next visit, it was not only my birthday, but also DH! His is the day before mine, one year earlier

With my #2 DD on my chest, we finally made the trek inside the flagship Louis Vuitton store! It was a great trip to be able to check something silly but fun like that off of my to-do list. It's nice to have special memories behind your purchases, I think!!

I had to take a picture to commemorate the moment. Sitting on a bench down the way from the store:
