Thanks Julide!

I used to have things kind of scattered all over. My purses were in my nightstand and alot of my clothes were in two different dressers in my bedroom. I did a big "closet evaluation and clothing purge" and got serious about being more organized. I still have a majority of my tops in a dresser, and of course sweaters, but I think I have an easier time getting ready each day with my closet the way it is now. I think I read someone's signature on tPf that summed it up nicely: "I want my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet!" My current closet goal is to complete the shoe wall by adding shelves to the top (which probably means taking out what I have now and putting in a proper wall anchored shelf). And then adopting more shoes!!!

Thanks scarlett_2005: and congrats on your weight loss ticker!!!

aa12 and missaznpirate, this is the story of my Ymail clutch:

During the school year, I take my DS to school every day. A lot of times after I drop him off I don't feel like turning around and going straight home, and plus my two DDs are in the car with me, so I think, We are already out, let's go somewhere!!" Somewhere is the zoo, the kid's museum or SHOPPING!! Especially to go downtown, first thing inthe morning is great for finding a parking spot on the street. In fact, at the beginning of the last school year, my DD's teacher told me that she said, "Nordstrom Downtown is my favorite place!"

So if I go to Nordstrom Rack, it's great because I'm there when they have just put out new things, or they are still putting things out while I'm there and then I think I get a good chance to find something unique before anyone else.

The Ymail day:

One day I was in the accessories and saw a table in an unusual spot with purses on it. As I walked up I saw this white clutch, and immediately my brain screamed, "GRAB IT!" I'm sure it looked like I was having a muscle spasm. I couldn't believe 1) that I found something that I really wanted but thought I wouldn't be getting and 2) that it was THAT cheap. THere were a few other bags, but not that cheap, of course. There was a Valentino purse for 400, which I knew was a good deal, but I was having a moment with the Ymail clutch .

So that is the story, just a stroke of pure luck and being in the right place at the right time .

peanutbabycakes, Thanks!!! Yes, it's such a blessing to be married to a man who understands and supports your interests. His parents and brother are coming at the end of the week to spend the month with us. They are genuinely nice people, so I feel lucky . I suppose the fact that neither of us speaks the other's language really well makes that easier .

deniseoutlet555, thank youuu!! I sent my DH a picture a pair of Gucci patent pink sandals and told him they would be perfect to match that bag, but my size was sold out!...or was it?? Congratulations on your bun in the oven That means you have to go shopping for a new diaper bag, and baby stuff. Darn !

Our reception was held at an indoor/outdoor venue. Luckily for us the weather was beautiful and we didn't have to use the indoor plan B!
