Default Tolani Scarves
I went back a few pages but couldn't find anything with the search down.

I've been looking at some scarves, I think I decided sir alistair would be too busy for me, love quotes is nice for a basic, but I'm stuck on tolani. I like the tolani mist scarf in blue, but it's 100% viscose. Does anyone own one and have some pics and maybe a review? It would be most helpful! What is the viscose like? Is it scratchy? Does it pill or ball? I looove the mist pattern but $80 is a lot for a scarf sight unseen.

I really wish someone posted pictures of their Tolani scarves as I plan on buying one soon as well.

I'm still deciding because I actually have my heart set on 2-3 but can only afford one right now. I love all the zigzag scarves that Jessica Alba has on.

i don't have the scarf that you want, but i bought this scarf (image from blueheavenboutique). i posted on tpf about the quality a while, but it must be hard with the search function down. I must say that I really like the scarf. It's not itchy, although on one occasion I did feel like it was itchy, but I don't know why. the only thing that bothers me is that you can see the stitching on the back on the scarf and some of the strings look loose. however, it doesn't look like the stitching will come apart. i didn't notice any pills or balls. if you double layer the scarf, it's actually pretty thick so it's really versatile in that you can use it during winter and summer. hope this helps!

^^ thank you so much for the review, I will go through your posts for it! I just got back into this stuff and came back to the forum that's probably how I missed your post. It's the same scarf as well - perfect! Thanks again!

i have the honeycomb one which is also viscose, and it's definitely not itchy! it's soft and doesn't pill, but i agree with handbagaddict that there is a definite front and a back and the back isn't as nice as the front. also, it was a lot thicker and heavier weight than i expected from seeing pics online! for some reason i thought it'd be lightweight and airy but that is not the case. nevertheless, i do like my scarf and plan to wear it in cooler weather (fall/winter).

here's what mine looks like:

hehe, thanks toki! actually i was hoping it would be this other color (combo #2) because i ordered it based off jessica alba's pics (omg SHE is the scarf ) and i have concluded upon careful examination that she was wearing color #2! but at the time that i ordered, combo #2 wasn't available, only the original color combo which they are now calling combo #1. they're close, but not the same! i was vaguely disappointed when i received my scarf back in january, but i didn't figure out that mine wasn't the same color combo as JA's until i was ordering LQ from this site last month and happened to check the tolani page and saw that there were additional color combos available (they now have 4 total!). and then it clicked.

combo #2 and pic of JA wearing it (which they still show as an example of combo #1 on blueheavenboutique's site!! ):

who knew scarves could be so confusing?

OMG, they are sooooooo similar. It's almost hard to tell that they're different. I had to look at the pics like 10 times! I can definitely see how there's confusion. I can't believe ordering something as simple as a scarf has turned into a huge project just trying to get the one you want. It's insane! I actually love them both, color combo #1 and #2

They are 100% viscose?
