i had a pair of whitneys where one arm broke (at the metal piece too) within 1st year. Unfortunately where I am, the retailers hardly offer any after-purchase services eg: repairs so that sunnies went straight to the BIN! :(

so took it back to neimans and they just gave me a new pair...whew. still though, for something that cost so much, they should not be this flimsy...

Default Same Problem - cheap material..
I've bought a pair of tom fords about 2-3 years ago. Within the first three months they got scratched.. and then about 5 months later, they snapped at the arm where the metal meets the plastic while I was putting them on.

They are the cheapest glasses ever. I've had super cheap glasses last for years, yet this one ruined so quickly. I've kept them since, since I didnt have the heart to throw them away because of how expensive they were. Now they are just taking up useless space in a drawer. I probably wouldnt buy another TF fair. It's a same, they are very pretty.
