I have yet to find one that even comes close. I can't get the Stole because I'm allergic! My bf is so happy!

^^ AngelBABY have you tried the stole? I have the same problem. I'm allergic to wool, cashmere, angora, but every one and awhile I find a really high quality piece or blend of cashmere that works for me. I've tried this on a few times and it hasn't bothered me. I was pleasantly surprised. It's next on my list!

The nicest alternative I could find was this one from Urban Outfitters. It's actually pretty nice & it surprised me... considering I was too looking for an L.V. alternative. I don't own this one, but I have seen it in person.

There are leopard scarves EVERYWHERE. Just keep your eyes peeled when you're out and about.

That said, this one (which is still expensive, so may be out of your price range or more than you want to pay) is by far my favorite of the alternatives I've seen --

Blue/black -- http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/49796
Charcoal/black -- http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/49798

They used to have an awesome white/black colorway, but it appears to be gone from the website.

I just picked up a leopard scarf cheap at Target. Its thin and wrinkled like the LV however its shorter. I want the LV leopard scarf so bad! But I'm not really a scarf girl so I bought the cheap one to see if I wear it enough to justify the LV one.

check H&M.

they have large leopard scarves.

they have a brown one and a purple one.

they are cotton blend.

so not itchy.

they are priced at 16 or 17 dollars.

they have a hang tag on it that reads swimwear.

so i guess it was meant to be worn as a pareo.

check out the miroslava duma thread in celebrity section to see her wearing her LV on the beach.

i bought the purple H&M scarf a month or so ago.

but i was just in my local H&M on friday and they still have several of each color left.

i am thinking about going back and getting the brown as well.

here is a pic of the brown:

the pic makes it look sheer, but it isn't.

I saw a purplish leopard scarf at Zara a few weeks ago, and the price was very reasonable. Good luck!
