Hi everyone! Wondering if you've seen the small Rockstud tote in textured leather in any stores yet? I'm looking online (Nordstrom and NM) and trying to decide between black and the "prune" color but wonder if someone has seen them IRL. Any comments on the textured leather and on the color Prune would be appreciated! I was only able to see this bag in smooth leather in green/verde at NM Natick. It had just arrived in late May and was very pretty. The size and shape of the bag in general were great. Thanks for any input, comments, opinions, etc!

Sorry about that! Here are pix from Nordstrom's site. Looks like Prune is a preorder to ship in July but black is available now. Dimensions are 11-1/4w x 10h x 5-3/4D with strap drop of 5-1/4 and shoulder strap of 16-1/2. NM has both colors listed as shipping in October and states dimensions as 10x10x6 (this must not include the "wings" on the sides). I really like this bag the more I look at it! Undecided on color though...and hoping textured leather is nice...thanks for looking and for opinions!

If anyone is interested, here is a pic of the smooth dark green leather version...saw it IRL - very pretty if green is your color!

H'mmmm I like the look of the textured leather. I have not handled it IRL though. I will look when I am back at the V boutique next time and let you know. Very classy looking bag.

I saw it at the Valentino boutique and loved it, but I am a burgundy/bordeaux lover. I always like to see that color in the fall lines. I also thought the size of the bag was nice for someone more petite.

I actually liked this bag in all the colors they had.

I did see a green one on a picture before and so far it is my favor color. Of course, I would love to have this bag in red, lipstick red, true red, Valentino red.

Oh I would faint if I saw this little bag in V red!!! We can dream, I suppose...I loved the Rockstud dome satchel that NM had on sale in May but it was a deep coral not red. Passed on it.

Hi, today I saw a black one IRL at Stanley Korshak. The leather is thicker than Nappa and looks much more durable. The texture is something between lizard and stingray, really cool. Looks great! I may have to have one soon. . .

I would not me surprise at all. With your speed you may get Valentino crown very soon.

I just saw the green one in Neiman Marcus' new catalog and really like it - reminds me of the Celine Luggage, which I'm a big fan of, but the price of the Valentino is way more reasonable. Just wondered if anyone can share additional details, like the leather quality, what the lining is and the overall quality/durability.

Omg I just looked at the NM catalog and am loving the bag too!! I don't have any Valentino but this bag made me fall in love! I totally thought a cross between the Celine Luggage and rocker version of the Chanel Cerf tote!! Can't wait for some opinions and to see it IRL!!

Not related to this topic, but I admire your bag collection for a very long time! I stop by Celine forum a lot and hope you will get your Valentino and we will enjoy your company on this forum as well!!!!
