A girlfriend of mine in New York is looking for a gold Valentino ruched bag. Apparently BG had this bag at one time, but she does not know if it is still available (they are closed today) or where else she might find it. Does anyone have suggestions? Have you seen this anywhere in the gold color?

I saw that bag on sale at Saks in Greenwich, CT awhile back. I only saw it in brown though. I think I also saw it on sale on a website recently, but I'm not sure where or the colors that were available. I'm not much help, huh? I will try and find it for you.

its in Valentino boutique in Paris 50% off, not sure if they still have it. it comes in brown, white, metallic silver (not sure if it comes in cold) i think she means the metallic color. anyhow, u can find the number at their website. goodluck :)

hi there, does anyone know where I could purchase a valentino histoire for a good price? I know that bergdorf-goodman sells them for a little less than 1700. I just finished my shoe obsession (bought three pairs of gianmarco lorenzi boots and one santa cruz shoes) I'm now back to the bag obsession :) thanks

Has anyone had any luck finding one? I want some color other than black or this creamy light orange that I saw @ NM. Any ideas on where to look? Everything is either patent or metallic and that just isn't the look I want for this bag. Thank you!

The current season bags are all patent unless you go for one that's mixed, i.e. pony hair with patent trim or straw with patent trim.

You could try calling a Valentino boutique to see if there are any non-patent bags left in their system. My guess is that the Fall/Winter 08 will feature leather.

The Valentino boutique in NYC got a pink non-patent leather Histoire from Milan for me. Razza was the SA.
