I would have shot her if she had ruined the painting.

Yes, it does have bullet proof glass. I'm glad to hear it isn' t illegal to photograph it because I have a picture of me next to it and the earlier poster scared me!

It made me LOL too, because I thought at first that it said "Woman throws up at the Mona Lisa." I was imagining some random crazy lady who was so repulsed by the painting that she projectile vomited at it

... But then I saw that it said "throws cup," which is just sort of mildly dispruptive in a very uninspired way. She decides to attempt to deface a world famous work of art and that's the best she can come up with? I'm surprised they let people carry cups around the Louvre in the first place...

So, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm just saying I think it's ugly. However, I have no intentions of throwing cups at it. *Gets out blow torch* JK really.
i was an art major in college and we had to take tons of art history classes, and our professors said that supposedly that it's leonardo himself dressed as a woman.

as an artist myself, the prospect of a painting not being "done" is quite common. you get obsessed with your work, to the point where you don't want anybody looking at it and you never feel completely satisfied with it. hence most of us artists being insane. lol
