this is so very sad! but i don't understand why the people who would always see her on walks and stuff through out the town didn't raise any questions or were not concerned when they stopped seeing her around town? so very sad! may she rip

That's terrible to hear. How sad. I hope the water leaking was nothing gross. =( I'd be creeped out.

1) Sad. She looks like my grandma
2) What kind of terrible neighboors did she have? It was an apartment but you think after not hearing any noise or running into the woman in the hall/elevator/near the building you'd....I don't know...KNOCK ON THE DOOR?
And how could you not notice the smell?

Oddly enough, that's the way I want to go. Quietly, at home, unnoticed. I live alone in a rural area, no neighbors close by to 'smell' anything.

Bills are paid electronically and automatically each month. Very little mail would accumulate other than junk mail. The only thing would be noticeable would be the untended yard, and there are many of those around here.

I would wonder about the smell too.

What a sad and tragic story... poor woman, it's like she passed and no one noticed. Where was her friends and family? So, so sad.
