Growing up in the Mississippi Delta during the 80s, they sprayed for mosquitoes about twice a week. I remember the "mosquitoes truck" lol. It had an alarm that warned you it was near (at which point you'd run inside lol). The heavens only know what chemicals they used back then.

We have soooo many bugs this year, i think it must be a combination of the mugginess due to all the rain and sun. I have noticed plenty of biting insects but i think (hope) that they are gnats rather than mosquitoes...

^^I grew up in Oklahoma, I remember the same thing! The trucks would drive by in teh summer w/ mosquito fogger spraying!
