Wow that is so embarassing! Seriously why didn't she just double check the DVD before giving it out! I would be sooo mad if I was one of those parents...I know it was a honest mistake but these kids are in Grade 5, that is traumatizing!

Slightly off topic (sort of) but while I'm not judging, I never understood the appeal of making that kind of tape.

At worst it could get out (as many, many . . . many . . . many instances have proven).

At best (and I'm borrowing from stand-up comedians here) you could review the tape the way athletes review game tapes: "Okay, you see the way you arched your back here? That was good, keep doing that. That face you made right afterwards, you might want to watch that."

If you really wanted to see yourselves mid . . . activities, there's a way to set up the TV and the camera so you're being shown on the screen and nothing's recording.

Or, you know, just put a mirror on the ceiling.

omg the sex tape is all over the internet now. I would die of shame. Seriously I would pack up my entire house in a suitcase just like they do in the cartoons and leave town immediately.

I agree. To be quite honest, how do you "accidentally" burn porn video inside a yearbook DVD??? that is beyond careless IMO. Maybe the teacher shouldn't be automatically be fired, but she should get some consequences.

when i first saw this story, i thought maybe the teacher accidentally gave out a porn dvd to a student INSTEAD of the school yearbook DVD...now that seems like a mistake that I could easily see happening. But actually embedding sex videos of herself within the school videos of all the DVDs?? You'd have to be beyond stupid and careless to make that kind of mistake.

excellent point. i'm sure everyone would be calling him a "pervert" and the guy would have been fired immediately. of course, since it's a female teacher, its somehow just "an embarrassing mistake." indeed, a double standard.
