Default Supercar blinds common driving sense...
The story is in Dutch and I fear it will not make English sites as such but you can watch the video of the crash site here, just to get an impression of the seriousnes.

A 36 year old Lamborghini Murcielago driver was thrown from his car and killed early this morning, in a spectacular crash just outside Antwerp - Belgium.
The supercar clipped a Mercedes and flipped several times finally hitting a pylon. The Mercedes and its driver are mercifully unharmed.

It is possible the driver of the Lambo had been racing at the time of the crash. There is footage of the man doing just that on Youtube, he had a habit of meeting up in champagne bars with other supercar owners.
The car's speed is limited to a maximum 320km/hour (although for instance in a professional race situation it can be made to go faster)

How fast he was going and exactly what he was doing remains for the police to figure out.

Unbelievable... such a waste of life and all for a fast car. All deadly accidents are a terrible waste of course but this kind of thing just makes me angry, so stupid, so unnecessary.

Things like this make me angry too. I always get scared when I see cars trying to race on the autobahn...there are other innocent lives out there trying to get to where they're going.!!

I don't understand why these guys can't just keep it on the race track. It scares the crap out of me when I see someone flying by me like that on the road. They have no right to put other peoples lives at risk.

I've seen it already. No matter how hard he drove, it's a sad story.

I'm sorry but Megs/Vlad require that the origin article be in English. If you can find one, PM me and we can re-open this.
