Unbelievable, shocking and sad. What a waste of a beautiful, talented man, partner and father. My condolences to his and his GF's families. How tragic a 1 yo little girl will never know her father.

My Purse Addiction, I completely agree. The media dragged him through the mud before all this new stuff came out. They kept bringing up his DUI and infractions on the field- as if those had something to do with his shooting! I'm a UF alumni and I couldn't even stomach the coverage. A man is sleeping in his house with his fiancee and baby and is SHOT and somehow he deserved it? Are you kidding me? Disgusting reporting. I'm no Miami fan, but I can separate right from wrong. If it had happened to one of the UF football players I would probably be even more mad! I just saw an interview with the suspect Mitchell's mom, and in the middle of the interview she takes a phone call and says "Sasha paid them do go down and do it." Sasha is Sean's sister! All this sounds really fishy and I'm hoping his sister isn't involved. What a very sad story. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, as well as the Hurricane and Redskin nation.

What a wonderful tribute to him!
What a waste is right. Hope they give these jerks the death penalty. |

Its just so sad... I live in the DC area and have seen some of the Redskins out on party nights...
NO HUMAN DESERVES TO DIE LIKE THIS.. Its a total disrespect of this man and his life and family... 16 seperate families lives directly will no longer be the same, because of the cowardly act of these 4+ individuals...because they are too lazy to go out and work for their own. How many players are in the NFL ??? All of those players will never be the same... not to mention all the Redskin Family....and their families.. People take death differently and there will be alot who will not recover from this.. Sean spoke in a 2005 interview concerning him being shot at, after he approached and waved a gun at some people who he thought stole his ATV.. He stated specifically that the path of one bullet can change MANY lives... ITs a awakening to many.. I find it so erie his comment on a "gunshot". Now thousands of lives have changed because of one reckless gunshot by 4 + cowards.. you took a life because you wanted a flat screen or two... Regardless of what happened, why they did it, what Sean had done in the past...he's gone nothing can bring him back. I am just glad they caught the ones responsible... They will spend the remainder of their natural lives in jail(we hope)..and Jackie will never ever see her father again.. Sean will never play football again.. Sensless crime...... |

Those tributes from yesterday had me crying like a baby! What a beautiful way to honor Sean. I watched the funeral today, and it broke my heart when his daughter was clapping and smiling in the front row, completely oblivious. I hope the four (or five- they're apparently have another suspect) of them spend a long time in jail. RIP Sean.

Football Horror: Three Charged in Taylor Murder
Posted Dec 1st 2007 10:50AM by TMZ Staff Filed under: Celebrity Justice, Talk Sports Three of the four suspects in Sean Taylor's death were charged with unpremeditated murder early Saturday. Charles Wardlow, Eric Rivera and Venjah Hunte all faced the same charge. Police say the killing of Taylor was unplanned. The fourth suspect was arrested but has not yet been charged. ![]() Miami-Dade Police Department spokeswoman Linda O'Brien identified the men as: Eric Rivera Jr., 17, Venjah K. Hunte, 20, Jason Scott Mitchell, 19 and Charles Kendrick Lee Wardlow, 18. Miami-Dade County Police Director Robert Parker said the suspects didn't expect Taylor to be home when they broke into his home Monday morning. The NFL Pro Bowler surprised them and was fatally shot. The suspects -- all of whom have prior arrests -- are expected to make their first appearance in a Fort Myers courtroom sometime today. |

. . . . the last two look tweaked out.
I'm glad they caught who they think is responsible, though. |

^Apparently the 5th suspect is the person supplying the police with all the information.... They have not and I hear will not be charging him, because he was the snitch (which is great- not meaning it in a bad way-glad he came forward).

I couldn't watch the memorial services... just seeing the bits on the news had me bawling like a baby. My condolences to all involved, and the sad part is, there are many, MANY people affected by this. RIP Sean. |

I know..I was able to watch the tribute on comcast sports last night and I was in tears...my poor daughter is like Mommy not again...
I was upset that WJLA did not broadcast it live on TV nor did the broadcast the moment of silence before the game.. Did not even show the players coming out on the field....I guess they don't want to broadcast GOOD things, they only focus on the bad things... Thats our media... Prayers to all families involved...even the ones that killed him.. I pray for them...They have no chance in hell.... |

I am so glad that at least they have some people in custody. Last nights game made me cry at the beginning because it showed Ray Lewis crying when they had the moment of silence for Sean. It broke my heart. I think it is great that they all have 21's on their helmets now.
Poor guy...he was only a year older than me too...it is so scary |

On another note, I think the killers were trying to end his career (with an injury to the leg) and there was pre-meditation. I just don't hear of many cases where someone gets shot in the leg. |
