I'm so happy for Torren! But the animal control officer got off easy. Seems like the visitor comments agree with my sentiments for that jerk of a lady.

All I know is that if that happened to either of my dogs and I found out the officer had just given them away, then you better believe I would be pressing charges. No questions asked.

That's awful! That reminds me of yesterday when I spent two hours combing the neighborhood looking for the owners of this lost pit bull puppy I found in my sisters front yard. It was really weird. It had a collar and a leash, but no owner attached to the leash. Eventually I did reunite her and the owners.
I'd be devastated If I lost my dogs and I couldn't imagine hurting a family like that. |
