That is truly crazy.. The cop is on a power trip but to do it with an emergency vechcle transporting a sick person is down right irresponsible...

I'm seriously questioning whether some of these cops are on drugs.

This man should not be a cop. He could have killed the passenger if it had been more serious

omg this story is infuriating. why couldn't they wait until after the patient was taken to the hospital??

also i didn't want to be the one to say it but i think race may be a common factor here. that other case the article mentioned (the one in Dallas with the football player going to see his dying mother in law), similar circumstances. really sad in this day and age. i think some cops get some serious anger/power trip issues..making a big deal about an ambulance not yielding...yeah, that's more important than an innocent' person's life being on the line. WTF.

i still can't believe the cop threatened to pull his gun out too. over not yielding? wow.

I would be suing the pants off of that department! This is just insanity, they are supposed to be working together, not fighting each other.

What makes me mad is that there are plenty more idiot cops all around.
I have heard/seen so much.

i dont think the emt had any reason to flip off a passing cop car so i doubt he did. doesn't make any sense. the emts account is fully supported by the dashcam of everything else that happened, even the fact the ambulance pulled to the side after going around a car on the shoulder.
its unfortunate that a few idiot cops make people dislike the police in general.
also notice on the dashcam video, the cop blew the stop sign coming out of that side street?
