^^Sorry but "wonderful" teachers do not say the things that this teacher said -- to a child, no less.

so you deny what the teacher said to the child? calling them fat and the like? what she did was VERBAL ABUSE! and it shouldn't be tolerated by anybody! I dont care if they are the pillar of their community.

I'm guessing the teacher googled herself??? LMAO, because I dont know who in there right mind would defend that teacher..

Reminds me of my evil racists 2nd grade teacher, she did so many wrong things. She once laughed and pointed at a kid that poop his pants, then yelled at him. Guess what her name was, Mrs. HOOK... AHAHAHA

I heard she got fired when I was in HS... thank god!

Oh yeah, because THAT's what wonderful teachers do: verbally abuse the kids and then accuse them of lying and emotionally scar them when they find out the students talked to authority figures.

That is a disgusting, inexcusable, horrific display. Not only did this person betray the pupil's trust in their TEACHER by being so ugly and mean, it also betrays their trust in adults. An 8 year old should be free from pointless verbal attacks such as this, PARTICULARLY from a teacher. Who is the adult here? This is sickening. I would boycott this teacher, should she be allowed to keep her post. However, I would not think that they'd allow her to stay on. Sickening. Those poor children. Who knows what they DIDN'T catch on tape.

I understand that a teacher can have a bad day. But, this child was already complaining to his parents that she was inappropriate. She was just caught in a way that she never expected.

As a teacher myself I can't even imagine saying those things to my students. And a reading teacher making students do push ups as a punishment??? Save the physical activity for PE and recess.

She may have been a good teacher for some students, but she has pushed it too far and shouldn't be in the classroom any longer.

If she doesn't like kids, why is she a teacher? What a retard.

I was once called a "Dumb blonde" by a teacher in front of the whole class and he also said it during parent/teacher meetings. My mom was pead. At the same school there was this teacher that told my sister she was DUMB and that she should just go back to preschool because preschoolers can read and she couldn't. When I was in preschool I could NOT read. My gosh. Teachers can be jack butts. They have a total different personality in front of parents. Some even do naughty things with the students, thats one thing they rarely get away with it. But I am totally anti-mean-teachers. To succeed you need confidence and teachers yelling and calling children names does NOT help. Trust me I have an aunt and she is a witch and shes a teacher. No slams to you good teachers out there (I know you are out there somewhere!) but my experiance with teachers has not been good.

What a horrific person, I can't believe that she is allowed to be around children !
i believe it is against the law...but if it's something that needs attention, then i think it's okay. but i could be wrong...

for example, there was a kid in my town that was always getting pulled over by the same cop, and the cop was ticketing him and cursing at him for no reason...anyways, one day the kid decided to video record it, posted up on youtube and got the public's attention. And the policeman got fired for his actions.

also, i know that at school, you have to ask for the professor's permission before recording anything they say.

She should be fired and anyone that defends that woman should take a hard look at their own parenting skills. I had a teacher like that, I hate her to this day. I find it funny how someone joins, does one post to defend her and then leaves. It was probably her googling herself. How dare you say that to a child, what kind of a person are you? Obviously you choose the wrong career.

That's not really a small point, and I am curious as to how it will be handled. He didn't have permission to record her. A good attorney could perhaps get it thrown out or something. I don't know.

Sh!t, I would not care if it was illegal, If there was no other way to prove that teacher was doing something wrong, I would do anything if I was the parent, LEGAL or Illegal.
