A few shots from the Seattle Times' website...
Golden Gardens Drive (Seattle): check out that car!  Firefighters rescuing people and doggie in Woodinville WA (Seattle suburb):  Overhead shot of Centralia, WA (about halfway between Seattle and Portland):  Interstate 5 at exit 77...hello major detours!  Chehalis WA (near Centralia)...at the upper right the bldg with blue on top is a submerged Wal-Mart!!

I live in the Portland area and we were spared the worst of it. I was amazed by the footage of Vernonia and the Chehalis area.
Seeing people being helicoptered off their roofs....wow. |

It is really bad in Chehalis Leah. I just saw a report about all the animals that drowned. A dairy farmer on the report was in tears about his beloved cows that drowned in a barn. Very sad.

Wow I was missing home so badly (Seattle Area) because I'm in Kansas but I'm glad I'm not there now... Hope everybody stays safe and dry..
