Oh yeah, I'm okay, I'm at a slightly higher elevation. Not much though, but I don't think I will have a problem.

I am in the north end of Seattle. It has been raining non stop for two days. I checked the rain gauge and we've had 5" since Saturday. The flooding isn't bad in my immediate neighborhood, but the road down to Golden Gardens park off 85th, washed away and created a giant sink hole. It will be closed until Spring. We have had gusts in the 30 mph range. The wind storm last month was worse. I have not seen too much wind damage so far.

I'm worried about the big trees around our house, and the rain soaked ground. Strong winds could send the trees crashing down. We are okay so far. Keeping my fingers crossed for everybody.

I am worried about the SAME THING Flora. We are surrounded by old cedars... all we can do is hope for the best...

Last night there was a power outage. DH got to get off work a couple hours early since there was nothing to do.
This afternoon was the first time the rain has let up here in downtown Portland.
Stay safe, and get those emergency candles out.

If you are driving through Centralia or Chehalis please please wait until the weekend.
They are rerouting people through Yakima to Seattle. Talk about a long round about way.

I feel really bad for the people in Chehalis and also Woodinville who are under water.

I feel terrible for the people in Vernonia.
Their houses are underwater and they haven't seen a flood like this since 1996. Many don't have flood/house insurance.
