NY's cab driver is no match to drivers in Shanghai, China lol. After a 2 month stay in Shanghai, I don't bat an eye when NY cab driver do their trick

I think part of the problem is that if you're going to drive in nyc you HAVE to drive aggressively or else you'll never get anywhere. no one's going to just let you in, people are going to stop right in the middle of the road and cabbies are going to cut you off at any chance. you really have no choice! but that alone definitely ups driver anxiety and touchiness

Hah! New York drivers have NOTHING on some of the taxi drivers I encountered in Dubai - especially during rush hour.

I think NY drivers can be bad, but there might be worse elsewhere!

as for ny topping the most aggressive drivers list, i think it comes down to the fact that ny is VERY fast paced. u have to be agressive just to keep up. |

I agree about Dallas/Ft Worth being in second...I'm surprised they weren't in first!!

"Baltimore, Sacramento and Pittsburgh rounded out the top five cities with the most pleasant drivers."
Bahahahaha, yeah right. This is completely ridiculous. |
