The "ass kicked" thing was said out of anger and disgust over what she did but to be honest I don't know what should be done with her.

She certainly needs to be punished and there should be a way to find out why she did what she did.

If her family has any pets I think they need to be removed from that environment for their own safety.

I dont care how angry she had been about something...this is just not normal, I hope someone makes her see a psycologist..she has some serious serious issues if she would do this. I would hate to see what happends as she gets older if she doesnt.

I really hope being grounded isnt the only thing that happened to her, at the very least have the girl checked out! If they dont take additional steps, beyond grounding her...then its pretty obvious why she acts like this, there is no punishment to her actions and thats just really, really sad. Groundation is nowhere near enough punishment for this action.
I vote for throwing her butt in Juvie! Let some other kids her age get ahold of her

No animal deserves to be tortured, and no child should ever be doing that to an animal. She needs therapy, and fast.

As said before -- animal abuse is usually a sign of mental illness or a sign that the child has been / is being abused in some way as well.

I am absolutely not condoning this behavior -- this girl needs professional intervention right now. I would commit her to a mental hospital if I were a doctor. I would expect she is mentally ill or is suffering some sort of abuse from someone that she knows, probably a family member or family friend.

She is a psycho no doubt about that. And her parents are morons who obviously condone this type of behaviour considering they are just grounding her. WTF? That's the same punishment you give to a child who doesn't do their homework. I normally am against physical discipline, but in this case, if I were her authority figure, I'd beat the daylights out of her.

I did not, and will not, watch the video. I hate people. I agree that the person filming it certainly should have intervened after having several minutes of footage.

I dont understand why there are so many people saying she should have her a** kicked and be locked up. I know they are probly not seriously saying they would kick her a**, and they are just very angry but this girl is 12 and is doing this, she needs serious help. Something is obviously very wrong with her. I think serious actions should be taken for this, but her being put in jail would not do anything but make her worse.

thats terrible what she did! She should definatly be thrown in jail! But I think that taping her for thirteen minutes is just as bad as her doing it. You want proof just get her on tape doing it once not over and over! And Im sure she is probably getting in more trouble than just being "grounded" obviously the father isnt going to tell the paper he is going to beat the crap out of his daughter.
