Wow, I'm not appalled by tattoos, but that is gross! And it can't be comfortable to have all that stuff in your face like that. Ouch.

As for the original story, it doesn't surprise me at all that that girl was lying. There's no way you could sleep through a tattoo. Especially on your face. You'd have to be extremely drunk or high, Amy Winehouse probably couldn't even sleep through a tattoo.

pretty much. the girl admitted to lying because i think her parents were angry with her, so she blamed it on the tattoo artist.

Thanks, I know that part but I heard the entire thing was a hoax and that the local radio station was behind it as a publicity stunt and that it never happened, does anyone know if this is true ?

That is a ridiculous story and I don't buy it for a second. Different areas of the face would have different levels of pain as far as tattoos are concerned. There is no way humanly possible to "sleep through" that kind of an experience. Sounds like somebody is after their 10 minutes of fame...
