I think the real point is that Guess is cheapening Gucci's name with thier imitations and the same logo. A lot of plp dont know the difference, or cant tell anymore.

Good point. I agree and would be a tad bit annoyed if someone thought my Gucci was Guess. I do like Guess and they have cute clothes and such, but when I want Gucci, I want Gucci--- not something to be mistaken for something else!

ugh... FINALLYYYY...

about 10 years ago i actually really liked Guess... until their 'designs' became blatant knockoffs.

I remember one of the first handbags my mom bought me was something that resembled Prada.

I am soooo glad that this happened.

In all honestly, I kinda like their clothes. I just get PISSED when I saw their bags that resembled the Gucci logo... and when I saw a messenger bag they desgined with the red and green stripes, I just got.. mad. I didn't realize the similarities with those sneakers that someone posted them earlier on this thread! wow! waayy too similar!! I basically cringe when I see a Guess bag, and I will NOT carry one anymore. (I had one my junior year of high school. This was before all this, I think.)

I just bought some Gucci sunglasses-- hope nobody thinks they are Guess. :'( When you drop $300 on a pair of Gucci sunglasses, you don't wanna be asked if they are made by Guess. My boyfriend even mistakes Gucci with Guess. =(

I'm not a fan of either Gucci or Guess, but it will be interesting to see how the law suit plays out.

its about time. guess definatly rip off gucci trademark and even some bag design ,clothes and boots design are extremely similar .i hope gucci will win and put an end to guess rip off .

i fel the same way as you mindy . i bought an expensive gucci handbag and many people compliment me saying " wow what a lovely guess guess bag ! " i was really pissed .
