I have reached to answer my cell while taking a bath, not good but i've done it. I feel so sorry for her parents, you raise a child all of those years and then they're just gone in an instant like that.

Yes, it's very sad. A senseless loss of young life it seems. My heart goes out to her family.
I don't think anyone was being mean. The girl was 17, which is old enough to know about the dangers of water and electricity IMO.

It also says she was in Romania. I don't know a lot about where she lives, but there are places in Romania with no electricity or have recently just got it. She may be a "moron" or she may have legitimately not grown up around electricity to know that its dangerous.

I didn't call her a moron - someone else did.

Oh I know. I'm just saying that even if she's old enough to know the dangers, she might not have actually known due to growing up without electricity. But then again she could have grown up with electricity, I don't know. Brasov is a big place, but she could have lived outside of Brasov. Its so common that people don't think about that stuff here. Plus, in Europe, there are a lot more exposed wires and stuff because of electricity being put in hundreds of years after the building was built. Sometimes, there are lot of things to take into account that not everyone thinks of right away. It doesn't make anyone a bad person for not thinking of it.

r.i.p.

its really sad. and it most be awfully painful for her family, not only because of their loss of her but because they must feel as if they could have prevented this or said something about electricity and water to her.

Surely, she must have known that water and electricity don't mix, but what a painful way to die. and 17 is really young. rest in peace.

That's so sad :(
I think a lot of times people forget how careful you need to be, even in your own household. I hope her family is doing alright.

She was so young. I remember wanting to use my lap top in the restroom.

That poor girl and her poor parents.

I like to listen to music while I was in the tub. Right now, I have an iPod dock right outside my bathroom.

But when I was living at home, I had to take my cassette player into the bathroom with me.

When my parents heard the music, they made it a point to ask where the radio was.
(Safely across the bathroom, on the sink.)

They also made it a point to tell me not to have the player too close to the tub.

I used to watch shows or play music on my laptop too when I was in the tub... after reading this I will never, ever do that anymore. This is so sad, poor girl.

I never got into twitter and I don't think I ever will. It seems like a trend that will soon pass.
