I think it should always go through the player [who hit the ball] first as it's rightfully his. From the article, it didn't sound as if he really cared; therefore, the girl should have it because she caught it.

I'm mixed on who should have it. On the one hand, it's a historical ball of sorts. On the other, if she caught his like 110th she'd be allowed to keep it, so why doesn't the 200th follow the same rules? However, I don't think the little girl really wants it. It seems her family thinks money can be made from it, which imo isn't such a smart thing to consider an investment but I'm not into sports.
