She was a pioneer who worked tirelessly for social and scientific advances that have changed the lives of millions of developmentally disabled people all over the world."

Ted isn't doing well either, so he may be next... I think that will then only leave Jean as the remaining Kennedy sibling.

Oh no. I hadn't heard about that! If Ted passes that will really be the end of an era. :(

Ted has brain cancer and has been sick for about a year. The type of cancer he has has a very low survival rate.

Yeah, I knew he had brain cancer, but I didn't know he had gotten much worse.

I really wasn't aware of much of her accomplishments until recently. Quite frankly, her endless drive to help others (she basically created the Special Olympics) and to love them...she truly was an angel among us.
