Default Dad Leaves Two Kids in Hot Car for Hours While He Goes Drinking
What a disgusting piece of garbage this guy is! The video in the link shows those poor little babies and the disgusting filth of a so called father.

http://www.theprovince.com/news/Babi...108/story.html

[QUOTE]Two sweat-drenched, wailing Abbotsford kids were rushed to hospital early Saturday after being found in soiled diapers, locked in a minivan for hours while their dad drank at a local fair’s saloon.

“I think they could have died — there are so many things that could have happened to them,” said Abbotsford police Const. Ian MacDonald. “This is an extreme example of what you would classify as ignorance — it’s common sense you wouldn’t leave kids in a car even for several minutes. It’s appalling.”

The children — aged four months and two years — were apprehended by Ministry of Children and Family Development officials after being treated for dehydration at hospital. Their last reported condition was stable.

MacDonald said uniformed members stationed outside the Fat Pig Saloon — a temporary bar set up at the annual Abbotsford Agrifair & Mighty Fraser Rodeo — were alerted by a distraught woman, who said she heard a man in the bar telling others he had to check on his kids at about 12:30 a.m.

Officers followed the man to a minivan parked in a nearby lot, where they made the shocking discovery and called paramedics.

“He opens up the minivan and all they can hear is the wails of the two kids,” MacDonald said. “Our members can see the kids are in distress and have soiled themselves. All the [van’s] windows were shut and the van was locked.”

Local freelance videographer Kevin MacDonald shot footage of police and paramedics attending to one distraught tot.

“It was probably the most disturbing story I have ever covered,” Kevin MacDonald told CKNW. “It looked like the kids had been in there a very long time. Both the kids were drenched in sweat.”

Police suspect the children were inside the hot van for hours.

According to Environment Canada, the temperature in Abbotsford on Friday at 5 p.m. was 29 C and went down to around 20 by the time the kids were found.

MacDonald said it appears the kids’ mother was out on the town on Friday night as well. It’s believed the parents live together.

The police and ministry investigations are continuing.

MacDonald said officers will have discussions with Crown counsel about whether the dad, a 26-year-old Abbotsford man, will be charged. Potential charges include abuse, assault or neglecting a child.

The father was not charged with any liquor-related offences.

The fair concludes on Monday.[QUOTE]

It's worse enough when parents accidentally leave their kids in the car but INTENTIONALLY leaving your children in the car?

WOW. Speechless.

I think the moral of the story is, don't have kids with idiots who would do such thing. I hope they put him in jail and throw away the keys!

What lucky little kids! That man deserves to ROT for that, and hopefully the mother of those kids will kick his *ss to the curb!

Thank heavens they were rescued before they became a statistic.

Poor kids. They cant help who their parents are. This guy has not been charged yet! Whats going on? If he had been shoplifting they would have quickly charged him!

What a moronic bastard. He should be locked in a mini van for hours to see how it feels.

Those poor babies.

Those poor babies. :( I'd like to lock that "father" in a minivan in the heat all day.

Thank goodness the kids are alive. If it weren't for the night hours, those children would surely have died within minutes.

Once my son and I were waiting in the car for someone to drop off something at an office. We were in an open car with temperatures reaching over 90degrees. We kept thinking this person was going to come out right away (they had the keys). The person took their good old time in the building and both my child and I became sick very quickly. My son soiled himself from the heat stress. I ran into the building screeching like a banshee telling them to get their %$#@ butt out to the car. Not good! I no longer "agree" to wait in any car if there is no way to get relief or help easily for my child.

I just cannot believe people are so stupid and/or cruel. EVERYONE has heard the stories of children dying in hot cars by now. People who do this intentionally ought to be charged with attempted murder. I really hope that woman values her children over this POS and leaves him.
