Those poor babies.
I agree!
I don't understand why people have children when they cannot and do not want to take care of them.

That's appalling!!! And the fact that he KNEW they were in there is just cruel, wrong, mean, and disturbing. What a bastard! He should be charged with attempted homicide if you ask me. I mean, what does he thinks going to happen to his kids leaving them in a hot car for hours!? Let him rot in jail.

Wow!!! this makes me so angry... Abbotsford is like an hour away from where I live and I can't believe someone so stupid would do that. We had a big heatwave last week and it was humid and hot. I couldn't even imagine being in my living room comfortably without a fan or a window opened on Friday, let alone being stuck in a car for hours.

That man NEEDS to go to jail.

Wow... that goes to say that some people really shouldn't be allowed to procreate!

I hope those kids are taken away. I can't bring myself to watch the video. My babies are the same age.

Luckily they freed the babies before they died of heat exhaustion. I hope that the dumb a$$ Dad gets them taken away. People that ignorant don't need kids!

Why exactly is there a DISCUSSION about whether the father will be charged?

This is the kind of thing I'm talking about when I say there is just no consistency...

What someone needs to do is put his ass in a sauna, crank up the heat and let him stay in there. THEN when he comes out, lock his butt up and throw away the key!! Piece of $#!%

When I saw the news footage of this it made me cry- just the sight of the police officer cradling the little baby

This skid should have to do time in a hot cell strapped in a chair while sitting in his own waste

When I click on the link, there is no video. Thank goodness, I don't want to see that anyways. Poor poor babies.

This happens far more than reported.

I had one incident where a child was left in a parked car (in an underground parking lot under the mall) while the parent shopped. I called mall security and left them w/ figuring out what to do. The child was basically "playing" in the car...doing all sorts of random things.

Another incident, involves not a child, but a dog left in a hot car in a mall yet again. (Of course this being in LA, it was hot) The dog was panting while the sunroof was cracked open as it's only source of air. Obviously this crack in the sunroof wasn't sufficient. I called mall security again, and was half tempted to break the window to help the poor dog. The owner showed up after a crowd gathered, and all she could say was "Sorry" (she yelled this at me because I told her to be more careful w/ her dog. Clearly she was was angry and more embarrassed than worried about her dog). She and her shopping partner drove off. I would think their first priority would've been to get the dog water while they were still at the mall.

I think it is time we start making the punishment fit the crime -

Lock the idiot in a car parked in the baking sun with some extra heat lamps blaring on the windows!!!!
