HYGIENE, Colo. (MyFOXColorado.com) – A cow and a bear collided after the bear tried to snatch some apples from the cow’s favorite tree in a town about 30 miles northwest of Denver.

Jack McDonald of Hygiene says he saw the cow, appropriately named Apple for her love of the fruit, chase the bear down from the tree Sunday afternoon.
McDonald says Apple and the cow hung out nudging noses before the chase.
Apple’s owner, Nancy Dayton, says she considers the 1,200 pound cow more like a pet than livestock.
Luckily, neither animal was hurt.
