Amazing that there is so little media reporting about this poor little girl!
^^
this little girl isn't madeleine. i am no expert but it can be difficult to determine eye colour in bodies that have decomposed.
other websites keep speculating that it is madeleine but seems to be a bit of wishful thinking. seems that there are many missing toddlers (family abductions mostly) that could be matches for baby grace.
it is heart breaking, someone somewhere has to be missing this little thing.

I hope someone comes forward to identify this poor little girl. It really breaks my heart. There was an unidentified little boy found here in Illinois last year, and they still haven't identified him. They finally gave him a burial earlier this year, no one came forward to claim him. It kills me to think that a parent could do something like that. I can't comprehend it.

Wow, an article at CNN.com said the girls suffered skull fractures, although the authorities would not say whether the girl had any other signs of abuse.

Also, the girl apparently was disposed in an uninhabited island in Galveston's West Bay, and a fishing tournament with hundreds of contestants was held over the weekend in the area where the girl's body was found.

Okay, so apparently there is a possibility that this girl could be abused, whoever killed her has done quite a preparation by providing the container and disposing it in a remote area.
I hope one of the fishing contestants will be able to share some info with the authorities, or one of them could be the perpetrator.

I saw discussions on other boards that perhaps the childis from areas of flooding & communications are down still so they do not know that she has been found? Someone even suggested that she may have been put in the box for safety & got the head injuries when the box hit rocks but somehow I doubt that.

Melissa that is shocking that a child's body was not claimed, I hope this little girl can be identified soon.

I doubt it too Roz.

There was a case over here in Indo that is more horror imo. It involved a boy around 10 and his body was mutilated with signs of sodomy! He was left in a plastic bag near a market. A family claimed him and buried him near their house, thinking it was their runaway son, but the son came back so the boy is still unclaimed till now.

You woulndt believe the cases we have over here, some of them are just too.. (lost for words here).

There is a discussion in another forum about the possibility of Grace being Maddie. I must tell ya, some of them really think that this could be Maddie... even after authorities say say it's not her after viewing dental records. And also, Grace had waist length, wavy blond hair, while Maddie has straight blond hair.

I just wish someone claim her asap. Poor baby Grace.

I think people are just anxious for resolution in the Madeleine case. Most believe that she is dead, poor little mite & would wish a decent burial for her if that is the case!

There is an update on this. They believe that the child may be that of a missing girl from Spring,Tx as well as others. DNA samples are being taken.

Bless you Midg, I was wondering how this one was going. It was all over the news and then poof, nothing.

I pray they find out who this little girl is and then they can find her killer.

God I hope not but they said she had head injuries so hopefully not. Whoever did this needs to be caught!
