I thought this was an interesting article. That would be horrible for your wedding though. At least the couple has a sense of humor and decided to marry anyway. Also,it is good that they took precautions to make sure their guests didn't get sick. I don't know if I would have attended though. What about you?

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. – The bride wore white — and a face mask. A Chicago couple married in surgical masks and latex gloves Sunday after learning less than 48 hours before that they both had swine flu. Ilana Jackson and Jeremy Fierstien went ahead with the ceremony after doctors assured them guests wouldn't be at serious risk.
But to be sure, the 26-year-olds kept a 10-foot distance from family and friends at all times, even walking around the gathering instead of down the aisle at a Highland Park synagogue.
Jackson says they'd joked about swine flu after both experienced vomiting, achy limbs and fever. But they never thought they really had it.
She says the circumstances were unfortunate but that they took it in stride.

well, that'll ruin your wedding day for sure!!

I can relate though, my son was diagnosed with swine flu yesterday! Ugh! We're all on tamiflu now

thank you so much...we're making him very comfortable and he's actually in very good spirits! So far its pretty mild

thanks so much for your good vibes....So far, he's doing great!

Fever broke today and he's running around the house and playing (dispite me telling him to slow down and rest). I am so glad! I just hope my little 3 month old doesn't get it....we are clorox wiping everything numerous times a day and washing our hands constantly so hopefully that'll keep it at bay.

i don't know if i would have gone to the wedding.

and i hope he gets over it soon diva!! im glad it wasn't a severe case, and i hope that no one else in the family gets it.

I think it's kind of weird that this made the news......

We went to a wedding in May when the whole swine flu scare was really going on - and there were masks in our bag of wedding favors. Call me a cynic - but it's just weird to me.

On another note - Diva I hope your baby gets better soon!
