I love my GPS, but you need to use some commons sense. They will take you around ass-backwards if you let them--- trust yourself first and your navigation second.

my sister has one of those gps navigation systems that you just plug into your lighter. She was driving downtown and it kept telling her to take a right....INTO LAKE MICHIGAN!

what a butt hole!

His comprehension skills are severly challenged.

My SO has a navigation in his car and we were driving to his older brother's picnic party in some town in the sticks. The road that the navigation led to was no longer in existence (the road was blocked off). So instead of continuing to drive on the blocked off road, he called his older brother to ask him how to get there!! duh!!!!!!!

I just emailed this story to a couple of folks

^^ Ditto. I always second guess them and turn right instead of left, and I get there just fine.

But SERIOUSLY - a cliff?? wtf? This just doesn't make sense.

And... I wish MY company car was a BMW.......

Wow what a DUMBASS! If I had a BMW there is no way in hell I would be taking it off road just because my navigation system told me to. There has been plenty of times where I have been on the road and my nav system has said please return to the road.

And My dad works at UPS and he said there are a few drivers whos wifes have BMW's. The delievery drivers make quite a bit of money. After a little while being there its up to $100,000+ a year.

Idiot! However, I bought my kids Sat Navs for their safety & once it lead my daughter way up a lonely back road that scared her immensely, they are not 100%!

What an idiot!

This story reminds me of this episode of The Office where Michael drives into a lake because the navigation system said to make a turn. lol
