TTC on hold for 1 month

We planned a vacation in May and it turns out that my ovulation week is the week of my vacation. :( It's a group vacation, with other friends and we're trying to save up money by 3 couples sharing a suite. Hubby is against the idea of housing in a separate room. we'll be taking a cruise to Bahamas and then returning to FL to stay at our friend's place w/other people. I just don't know what to do. I'm already stressed about not getting pregnant and i don't wanna put a hold on for a month.We've already bout tixs. THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO HARD!!!!!!!!! Why am i ovulating that weeek???????????????????

Pinkdot,

Don't stress out. Just enjoy your vacation. You never know when it is going to happen.

Honestly, even I charted, did Ovalution tests, I still don't know which day is the day I conceive.

Maybe you and DH can go somewhere for a quick one. :)

I say just go and have a good time and if you happen to BD that week then that is great. Don't stress over it too much. Maybe you can sneak off just the two of you for some "alone time" and let the BD commence. Don't stop trying in April either. Just let things happen as they normally would.

I agree!! Don't make an issue out of it...maybe you'll end up sneaking out poolside real late at night for a "nightcap".....
I hate fighting on vaykay....don't let your thoughts ruin a great trip!

I know what you mean, it´s hard to lose opportunities. Enjoy your holiday definitely, it does you more good than you realise. And you know, when people take holidays their ovulation usually comes later..

So you might still get it after the vacation!

Same thing happened to me when we went skiing. We were staying with my in-laws... doesn't exactly put you in "the mood".
