Do the kits let you know before you ovulate?
Are they accurate?
Sorry for all the questions, this is new to me.

^^^ Hey thanks.
We are not telling anyone either, not even parents. We don't want everyone always wondering.
I don't think I will use a OPK yet.

Yep, my first time around. I tried them for 3 months and the last month I spent a fortune because it was irritating me, I tested my entire cycle from the time I got off my period, until I received a positive pregnancy test and it NEVER told me I was ovulating. Obvioulsy, I was ovulating.

I know you had your AF, but you can get positive OPKs when you ARE pregnant. Is this 3 days in a row? What were the strengths of the tests? The Test line should be darker than the control line to make it truly positive.

I started testing 7 days after AF and three days were negative, then the first time I got a positive it was a little lighter than the control, second and third day same color as the control.

Is that unusually long or normal? Last month it was only same as the control for one morning...

Two days the same color isn't abnormal. I had two days like that too.

Same here. Only a couple of our friends know but don't want to tell my parents until I get a positive.

Good Luck! I conceived both of my kids on the first try (on "O" day) if that helps...

IHi - I normally hang out at the Gucci forum but just saw this new category. I'm sending positive thoughts to all of you here ttc. I've been TTC for over 3 years now. I had done 4 AI's and waiting for my FSH to be right before I do IVF. Is anyone else in my same boat?

Re: UTI ... My family doctor told me to make sure to use the bathroom every time after BD (especially given how hard we tried, KWIM? ). I understand how stressful it is, been there done that. Good luck ladies!

^^ Really? I avoid going to the bathroom after BD b/c I feel like all the little swimmers will come out (sorry if that is TMI!)... .

Mssmelanie- I just met a women last night that was tryingto conceive for 3 years and she literally did it all, Clomid, AI, IVF. She got pregnant naturally and is due in Nov. Know what did it??? Chinese methods... she did accupuncture and followed a diet of no wheat, sugar and limited dairy. She conceived 2 months after her lifestyle change. There is a book she followed and I can't remember the name of it, but if you are interested, I will find out for you.

It was such a great story!! I am so happy for her!!
