We are trying again, but infortuantely I just started yesterday, so a whole new cycle for me. We have been trying since miscarrying in January, I've decided to start charting again (which I hate) so maybe that'll give us the added boost we need.

Hi, we are trying too. Since Oct last year. It's so nice to be here where everyone shares the same concerns and thoughts.
I married late 2 years ago at 34 and only started TTC last year as hubby was doing his masters and we were waiting for the house to be ready. Now it seems to take forever to get pregnant. I understand how it feels to be stressed and anxious when its suppose to be fun. Doesn't help when so many friends and relatives are preggers. Even my sister in law (my younger brother's wife) is pregnant. The first in the family. |

I guess what makes it disappointing for me is that though age is not really on my side, I've been keeping healthy for the past years. Been exercising regularly for the past 5 years and eating right at the same time. In addition, my period is regular 28-day cycle. I'd always imagine it shouldn't be that hard to be preggers. Just never anticipated it to be so difficult.

^^ ITA. I am so type A and need immediate gratification. Guess this is God's way of telling me I can't control everything
. Which is probably a good less to learn BEFORE I get pregnant....

My husband and I having been TTC our second child for the past year. I honestly don't know why we are having so much trouble this time around. My Dr. just sent me for a bunch of tests to see if I am ok....if all checks out he is going to put me on Clomid. I am kind of nervous about it because of the risk of multiple births. Is anyone using Clomid?

Ladies who are TTC, I just heard about Optivite vitamins,they are supposed to help-do the research, they seem to be interesting. I never used it, but what I can find on the Internet intrigues me.Since it took me 11 years to conceive this little diddle, I wanted to share what i hear in case there is some truth to this;
From this website http://ccli.org/aboutccl/history/nutritionconnect.php Early miscarriage without proper development of the child is also known to be related to short luteal phase in some cases. Because Optivite can improve the luteal phase, we have recommended it for repeated miscarriage. There is no direct research on this topic that I am aware of, but after reading my recommendation of Optivite as a possible aid to prevent early miscarriage, Dr. Abraham contacted me by phone assuring me that we were on the right track. He, in fact, suggested that I undertake research along these lines. I begged off, explaining that I had six children (more since then).

I started my first cycle of clomid last cyle but no results. Partly because I had a case of UTI (urinary tract infection) and it was too uncomfortable to keep baby dancing. I seem to be getting UTI quite often, which I put it down to stress.

Me and the dh are TTC. I was always worrying about getting pregnant and know I am going on 4 months trying, lol. I am 21 so I am trying not to stress but I feel like we have been trying forever. I was on BC for 6 years so I am sure that is why it is taking so long. Good luck to everyone that is TTC!!

I have a question.
What do you "chart" when you are "charting"? |

I Chart my temps and cervical mucous mainly, though there are other things such as cramps, backache, and stuff like that. I use the charts on Fertility Friends... it makes it easier for me. I started doing it a long time ago, after our first angel was stillborn, I don't use the boards so much, but I love their charting and data pages. It makes it so easy to keep up with everything.
