BD every other day from the end of AF. Don't wait till you detect a surge on the OPK.

. Nothing worse than trying to get in the mood when the house is a wreck and you are knee deep in dust. Not to mention being exhausted if you are doing it yourself..I'm actually delaying our bathroom remodel until after I get pregnant... I need distractions .

Another thing you might want to try is putting a couple of pillows under your butt immediately following intercourse and keeping your tush elevated for 5 minutes or so. This makes gravity your friend.
Don't be excessively elevated (no yoga candle position) as this might cause the sperm to pool in back of your cervix. Good luck!

My DH and I started trying 3 months ago. I am using OPK, taking Ovulex, FlaxSeed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil and a Prenatal Vitamin. Yes, I am crazy!!! I just started taking the herbal pills 2 weeks ago, and my AF was due on the 14th...I am worried that perhaps they messed-up my cycle! Anyone else know anything about this??? I just don't think that I am pregnant...of course, I hope I am though...

We just started TTC this month. I will be expecting AF early next week but am hoping it will not show.
Even though we just started trying, I feel kind of stressed about it. I'm just so ready. Plus I just found out a friend of mine is expecting (wish I was too). And they weren't even trying! How do you keep the stress level down even though you're so anxious and excited? I'm so glad I can share my feelings with you all on here, since I don't want to discuss our plans with family/friends. |

^^^I know it's crazy, everyone tells me to relax, but I swear I can't. I know the whole experience is supposed to be relaxing, and all that good stuff, but it is sooooo stressful counting days, taking your temp, peeing on sticks, getting blood work done, etc. And, I swear sex for procreation and recreation is different, especially after it has been unsuccessful of producing offspring!!!! How in the hell are all these girls lucky enough to get "knocked up'', and I try and can't get pregnant?!

Ms Coco,
I feel the stress too. I have only told very few people that we are trying. Tabbyco, We are on the same time line. I have been married for almost 3 years. |

^^^ I am right there with you ladies.. by friend of 20 years just told me on Monday she is pg and wasn't even trying. I am really excited for her, but I got irritated when she said, "Don't worry, it will happen for you when it is supposed to."
(She is the only friend I have a slightly competitive relationship with, probably b/c we have been friend so long it never matured, KWIM?)Last month I was so nervous about getting pregnant, even though we were trying that I wasn't really having any fun and I knew I wasn't going to get pregnant because I wasn't "feeling it". So this time I am focusing totally on my husband and creating a whole seduction scene... it is a whole lot more exciting and takes your mind off the end result. Also, I think I read somewhere that your chances of conceiving are better if you orgasm... (or did I just make that up). Either way, it is better than not ![]() Question: If we BD last night, should we NOT BD tonight? Birthday girl is feeling a little frisky .
