How do you keep yourself from testing too early?

I am two days away from AF and I am DYING to test!!! I'm trying so hard to fight the urge....and stop wasting money

I have no advice. I tested with my DS at 11 DPO... and got a BFP. I have no self control... :)

I suggest distraction, retail therapy :). Just get outside or something. I usually pick up a fashion magazine or something, keep my mind occupied or do a crossword puzzle. :)

Good luck!

$$ I've wasted too much on those tests but I totally can empathize.. When we were first TTC, I would run out and by a test every month for almost a year..I hadn't tested myself in almost 3 years except for last week.. I was 38 days into my cycle which is over a week late for me. And of course, still negative.

I never test until the day of supposed period, usually I test when I´m 4 days late minimum. It saves me the negative feelings.

I have yet to test....I did once and it was the biggest disappointment, so until the day I am late and my charting gives me a sign of hope, I will not test.
Good Luck though!!

Last time was a major disappointment. If I'm late in the future, I'll probably wait a whole week before I test.

Well I am right there with you although I am one day late and have not tested yet but I do not have the urge yet. I have a feeling that it will be negative so I am not stressing it and waiting for AF. Of course I will be shocked if I have not started by Thursday then maybe I will buy a test. Some of those things know 5 days before AF so maybe you should just get one and see.

Nope. I have some spotting. Well, it is off to the specialist we go. Atleast the appointment is on Monday and I don't have to wait another month.

Tabbyco,

I am sorry. Please be brave when you go to the specialist.
