Default Silly question I'm sure but...

If you O and BD on the same day, what are your chances of getting pregnant?

It just seems like O+BD should = pregnancy. I know its not as simple as that, but all the years I was trying to prevent pregnancy it felt like it was so easy to get pregnant. KWIM? I think I need a "menstrual cycle and pregnancy" refresher class. Can you recommend a website. Sex Ed was so long ago!

So why are all the reason you don't get pregnant, when you O & BD the same day (assuming both parents don't have any inherent issues)?

there is mymonthlycycle.com
it helps you track your periods and fertility. I love it.

There are so many reasons why it doesn't happen. If you think of how hard it can be for sperm to get there and because a woman's ph etc have a lot to do with how sperm survive it really is a miracle when it happens.

Good Luck Virgo TONS of Baby Dust your way

20-25% chance of getting pregnant for healthy couples (w/no known fertility issues).

It's hard to tell exactly when you O, I don't know how successful this is, but I've always been advised to do it when I'm O'ing. All the time I seem to miss!!! This month however, I did it a little differently. I BD on the earliest possible date and conceived! Wheee!

This helped too:

Edit:

It's hard to tell when you actually O because all the symptoms like high temp, thickest cervical fluid, are signs after you have O'd. I read it recently that you need to do it when fluid is wettest and that usually happens just before you O.
