I don't see any reason why you should put it off unless you are uncomfortable. Maybe take some immodium or something if this is one of few oppourtunities until next cycle. Are you on any special medication ? I don't know much about TTC so I don't want to give you bad medical advise because I am not a medical professional but otherwise why not go for it !

When I was TTC I wouldn't have put it off for anything! Those four weeks until you can try again can be an ETERNITY. Your stomach flu will likely pass in a few days and you may wish you had not waited.

But if you are just starting to TTC, then it may not be a big deal to skip a month if you aren't anxious about timing and testing yet!

I would get an opinion from you SO....I know my DH wouldn't come near me if I had diarrhea and was at the tail end of a virus.
However, if he's game and you feel up to it....hop right on it!! (no pun, well I guess pun intended...LOL)
I hope you start to feel better, stomach viruses are the worst thing ever!!

Ugh... I got the flu on my peak day last month! It sucked. I didn't feel much like TTC.

You can always do the home insemination if you don´t feel like babydancing

Just make your man gather his "goodies" in a porcelain mug/plate etc (no metal!) and be ready. Buy a plastic syringe without the needle of course(they sell these very cheap at pharmacies, 10ml should do it). First, wash your hands, suck air in the syringe and blow out, then suck the "goodies" with the syringe and click and tap on it so that no air is left in it. Then just carefully insert the syringe in your vajayjay and slooowly press the "goodies" inside. Do it slowly, otherwise it spills out.

There are more explanations and instructions if you google them. Some warn against using it because of the possible air bubbles but my doctor says even if you left air in the syringe, it´s so small that nothing will happen.
