Default Ovulation Question.

Is it normal to be crampy when you are ovulating? I can't remember if I had read that or not. Anyone know?

Sometimes women feel a cramp when the egg is released. It's a good sign

Ahh well i had some cramping, very mild today on the lower left side...but it did not last long. And we did BD Sunday and this morning before work...I know TMI!! Maybe this is a good sign. At least we are doing it more than once this time.

What? That doesn´t really make sense That would make the sperm weaker.. It is recommended to BD every other day if there is a suspicion that sperm is an issue.

Yeah I agree. I have heard to BD every other day from everyone I know in the medical field, even several ob/gyn docs.

My fertility specialist told me and DH to BD on both of my "peak" days but DH has no sperm issues. If he did, maybe he would not have reccommended that. I've never heard of the more than once a day thing.

Unless your husband is a Reproductive Endocrologist, this info is false! REs recommend BD every other day for best results.

We were told that expressly by our RE.

I'm so sorry for the confusion! dh is in residency right now for psychology he is not a RE...I just looked up the info and you all are right, it does decrease the sperm count...I think he might have said that so we could bd more often, I will let him know..I had no idea, I'm glad I found this out, thanks for clearing that up ladies!

I'm cramping right now! I had a peak day on my CBEFM today and haven't had a chance to BD yet. I hope I don't ovulate before I have a chance to BD with hubby!
