Default LH Levels

I went to have some blood work done more than 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back. I finally called my GP today and of course she was not there! The receptionist told me my results over the phone and I am a bit confused. Apparently my LH levels are low but the tests showed that I ovulated and my progesterone levels are ok. She wrote in the results that I may need treatment for the LH levels. Does this make sense to anyone?

I talked to my GP finally and she said that there was nothing to worry about. Apparently after I ovulated my LH levels dropped lower than the average, but she doesn't know what that means. I went to my OBGYN in the states yesterday and go a thorough check up. So I'll wait to see what she has to say.

So my obgyn said that could consider taking clomid since my cycles are so irregular and it's really hard to time bd. My cycles are between 34-44 days! She says that as long as DH sperm count is healthy, I should take the clomid. I'm just waiting to hear back from the urologist now and deciding if I should go for it. She says that although I've only been TTC since Jan, she recommends the clomid because I will O much earlier and it will be predictable for me.

Or you could just get yourself the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor if you haven't got one already. It detects LH pretty well and signals when you should BD. Also for people with irregular cycles it's good to get a copy of the TCOYF book, it'll teach you how to determine when you should BD.

Thank VPT! I've tried both already. Both of my doctors have said that the fertility monitors and basal temp may cause too much stress. They are recommending that I don't use them as it may put too much pressure. They are saying that BD every other day should do the trick.
