I'm tired of always being the only one who isn't a mother.

I'm tired of seeing severely underweight, drug abusing celebrities getting pregnant at the drop of a hat.

I'm tired of nature itself reminding me how flawed I am every time a doe wanders into my yard with her cute little fawns in tow. (I live on a mountain. Literally on a mountain.)

I'm tired of having sex every flipping day of the month, lay in my flipping bed with my flipping legs up for the longest time, only to get my flipping period. (Sorry about the run-on sentence.)

I'm tired of that flipping Mirena (birth control) commercial. You know the one-where the super fertile wife plans her family and gets the little girl she wants when she wants it. Just makes me want to kick the television set in.

Wow. All that venting felt good.

I just thought of two more:

I'm tired of looking into my husband's eyes and thinking how having sex with me is a waste of his time, energy and genetic material.

I'm tired of seeing naked pregnant celebrities in posing for magazines, feeding their already inflated egos. I got the naked pregnant Christina Aguilera issue of Marie Claire and am NOT renewing my subscription when it is up in March!!! It put me in a depressed state all day! Don't get me wrong, the girl has a good singing voice, but that doesn't mean I wanna see her naked, pregnant or otherwise.

Just to clarify-I don't think that a pregnant stomach is anything to be ashamed of. It's just a blow to my self esteem when I see a pregnant celebrity on a magazine cover or in a naked photo spread. It's as if the celebrity is bragging in my face, saying "Not only am I gorgeous, rich and talented, but I'm super-fertile too! Look what else I can do that you can't!" Just makes me feel worthless.

I'm tired of feeling worthless because I can't seem to get pregnant.
