Default How many IUI cycles have you had or did you need to get pregnant?
I just had my 2nd IUI this morning, am praying and so hopeful!!

Would love to hear others say how many they had before getting pregnant... or how many and are still trying or went onto IVF and succeeded.

On of my girlfriends just had this. The Dr. told her an her husband on average 3 times. Hang in there. Was it painful? Won't you find out in 2 weeks? Baby dust!!

I had two IUIs and then went on to a (successful) IVF with my first pregnancy. My doctor said with me they would do up to three IUIs before trying IVF, but I ended up moving on earlier based on what we thought was wrong with me and some logistical issues at the time.

I did three IUIs with clomid, to no avail. Then on my next cycle we did an IUI with Follistim and now I'm the mother of twin boys!

My doctor's plan was to try three follistim/IUI cycles before moving to IVF. Luckily, I responded really, really well to follistim.

I should know next weekend... I had the IUI and a shot of Ovidrel 2 days before. What is follistim?

I was on Clomid on & off with no success. I had an IUI with no meds and conceived my daughter Shoshie.

My friend who is 10 weeks pregnant, told me it took her three cycles of Clomid with IUI to get pregnant.

I had 2 unsuccessful IUI's...gonna wait til Sept.
I have to start taking drugs and injections this time. Not Looking forward to it.
