Careful with food cravings, cos when you've conceived, I heard that in the 1st trimester you will be VERY hungry all throughout the day. I've seen my friends go from skinny-winny to balloon, claiming their cravings were difficult to curb. Maybe if you are feeling hungry you're probably not adequately nourished, and by that I mean not enough consumption of daily intake of required vitamins and minerals. Conversely if you ate sparingly of the required daily nutrition, your stomach will feel satiated. It's not a matter of how much food but what food you consume.

Drink plenty of water, if you're currently consuming 4 cups daily, increase to 5, then next week 6, up to the point you keep going to the bathroom too frequently for 3 consecutive days. Water, not soda, flushes out all impurities and helps to activate cells which would otherwise be slack when dry. When cells are activated, go do some exercise for at least 30 mins every other day, doesn't have to be strenuous at all, even slow yoga or tai chi would do.

If your dentist recommends teeth extraction, do it before pregnancy as drugs can interfere with your system and affect the survival of the foetus. I have very healthy teeth and thankful I had an impacted wisdom tooth extracted less than a year ago. I think the dentists used more than 2 types of anesthetics for the op! It's not just the anesthetics that are worrisome, it's the post-op care for the newly dug hole that's the real pain because it can get infected and there's this worry about a dry socket problem which is extremely painful. It takes about 3-5 months for the hole to fully close and until then, careful attention is required. You really don't want to have an extra burden on your mind so if you need an op do it now before continuing to TTC.
