I ran into someone from my old job yesterday.... of course she said, "Where is the baby? No baby yet? When are you going to try?" I looked at her and said, "You last saw me in Jan and the first thing you ask me is that?" I was shocked.
Of course at first she did look at my belly like trying to figure it out. I have gained a lot of weight and know I should diet and work out but I'm just so depressed about all this.
I also know I should stop drinking coffee or diet soda cause magazines say it reduces your chances. I just don't know what to do or think anymore.

I'm sorry she said that to you. People say things without thinking first. Ugh. Everyone should remember you never ask a woman if she is pregnant unless the baby's head is crowning.
As for stopping coffee and diet soda....sure you can, but of course there is ton of advice on the best things to do to improve your chances and some of it just seems like guessing to me. Its very frustating and confusing on whats best to do!! I did recently give up Diet Coke. I am drinking water with lemon instead and its not as bad/hard as I thought. Maybe try that? Regardless of TTCing, it can't be good for you anyway. I not a big coffee drinker so thats no problem for me. As with everything, moderation is key.
I haven't been on Clomid (yet) but my friend recently was and didn't gain any weight but she is a very light / healthy eater so not the norm I'm sure.
It is very stressful to TTC. I'm right there with you. I hope you have some good news soon.
